Tell us about your career journey.
I did a dual degree program in Louisiana for a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and Civil Engineering. While I was in school, I did a lot of construction contract work but soon realized science and physics were where my true passions stood.
Finding long lasting meaning in my work was important to me before anything else. The people and culture at Found gave me that meaning I was looking for. I am grateful for every day that I get to wake up and have intrinsically fascinating conversations with such amazing people.
What do you do at Found Energy?
At Found my role is very dynamic. Fundamentally, I increase work operation efficiency to every team and team member in any way that I can, introducing and organizing resources in order to optimize their individual workflows.
I believe scientists and engineers should be able to focus on science and design without limitation. Finding safe and financially creative solutions to provide access to seemingly unavailable resources is the primary sustenance of my work at Found Energy.
What drew you to Found Energy? (Role, interest in the technology, sustainability, etc.)
The courage. I believe it takes an immense amount of courage to jump head first into the challenges that Found willingly surrounds itself with.
Growing up in Louisiana, I recognize that heavy industry can be a stubborn entity considering its solid position in the foundation of our society.
Challenging that foundation requires substantial merit—not just economic, scientific, and logistical merit, but moral merit as well. I wholeheartedly believe Found Energy can provide that merit, along with unique solutions to how society manages and thinks of energy.
What do you like to do outside of the office? Any fun facts?
I like to write. Some ideas can only illustrated in stories. I believe that this concept is powerful and shapes our society. It is satisfying to express complex ideas that others feel but may not entirely understand.
